WELCOME TO SALTSJÖBADENS SAMSKOLA
Saltsjöbadens Samskola is beautifully situated in Nacka close to Stockholm and on the edge of the archipelago. We have about 600 students in grades 7 to 9 and in the upper secondary school. The educational standards at Samskolan are very high, and our students obtain excellent results in the National Assessments Tests.
Choose between various profiles
In our compulsory school, years 7–9, students may choose between two alternative profiles:
• The International profile
• The Sports and Health profile
In our upper secondary school students may choose between two alternative programmes:
• The Social Sciences programme. All students on this programme have the opportunity to study for a national diploma in economics – “Diplomerad gymnasieekonom”. Very few Swedish schools offer this opportunity.
• The Natural Sciences programme
Unique opportunities at Saltsjöbadens Samskola
Starting in the autumn of 2009, Saltsjöbadens Samskola will offer a number of unique profiles for all students at the upper secondary level:
• Sports profile: The students choosing our Sports profile can combine advanced studies with sailing, golf or tennis.
• International profile: The three-year international profile comprises two years of study in Saltsjöbaden and one year in another European country.
We welcome students from all over Sweden and other countries.
